We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I am thrilled to be serving the Lord at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville (UTK). Go Vols!
In highschool, I deeply encountered Jesus Christ’s love for me, and his desire to have a personal relationship with me. I had never before understood the magnitude of Christ’s pursuit of me in the reality of my daily life. I went to college with this fire, that was slowly extinguished by the typical life that college offers you.
However, God still gently and graciously pursued me, leading me to grow deeper in my prayer life, and bringing me to read scripture on my own for the first time in my life. I thought this was enough, until I realized he still desired more for me. It was through a FOCUS Bible Study that I learned of God’s covenantal love for me. This transformed my world, and changed the way I understood his care for me. In returning to the sacraments, Jesus breathed new life in me that I had been longing for – I knew I was home and I never wanted to leave.
It was this transformation of heart that allowed me to say “yes” to FOCUS with great joy. It is my greatest desire as a missionary for those I encounter to know the saving love of Jesus Christ. Being able to run to the Lord alongside other women in greek life was a life giving experience that I am excited to share with the women I meet at UTK.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission.
If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you. Thank you!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
