We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hi, My name is Bea and I’m a FOCUS-Missionary serving in Krems and St. Pölten, Austria.
I am a missionary at the campus of the University of Krems and the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences.
I’m a cradle catholic but my story really begins in Madrid, 2011.
It was during my first World Youth Day. We were on our way back to the school we stayed at and that’s when I felt the Lord inviting me into a personal relationship. He wanted me to be either fully in or fully out but living a double life was not an option anymore. That’s when the ball started rolling.
I let the Lord form me and He challenged me to grow through retreats, conferences, mission trips and most importantly the people who invested and walked with me. Eventually, I started leading bible studies and other formative events like them too. But as life went on I became a working student, while trying to serve the Lord on the side.
Finally, in November 2022 the Lord invited me to leave my net and follow Him. Saying “yes” was not as easy as I thought it would be. But after some failed attempts to prove that I could continue the way I did, I realized that God has a greater plan for me and it includes following Him into His great unknown.
Following Him into His great unknown also meant that I have to surrender control and rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I have been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. Your joining me in mission through financial support, allows me to be a witness on campus. So if you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will be happy to set a meeting with you. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.
Thank you for making this possible!
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
