We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
The Lord has called me to serve at Saint Agnes Parish in Sellersville, Pennsylvania.
In high school my theology teacher Kevin taught me all about the teachings of the Catholic Church and who Jesus was. These teachings resonated deeply within me and I quickly came to believe they were the truth. But it wasn’t until Kevin taught us a phrase- factus sum in imagionem dei- that I really caught on fire. It’s Latin for “I am made in the image of God.” Kevin explained that God endowed every human person with infinite dignity, and because of that dignity, no person ever born, no matter how poor or crippled or evil or alone, could ever be without the love of God. It meant that in the eyes of God I mattered, and nothing I could ever do or say would ever stop God from loving me.
Factus sum in imagionem dei- those words set me on fire. After that class I decided that I wanted to teach theology like Kevin in order to touch lives and endow them with meaning through the love of God that I had come to know. I went to the Franciscan University of Steubenville for my bachelors degree in theology and English, and there I encountered many FOCUS missionaries who touched my life in a deep and powerful way. I owe it to these wonderful people that today I am setting out to serve the Lord and declare His love to all peoples!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
