We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hey y’all! My name is Bri, and I’m a FOCUS missionary at the University of Kansas!
“I will go anywhere and do anything in order to communicate the love of Jesus to those who do not know Him or have forgotten Him.” – St. Francis Xavier Cabrini
God has called me to serve at the University of Kansas! Rock Chalk baby!! I’m super excited to be on campus and to be leading students closer to Christ.
This is team KU for the 2025-2026 school year!
Before I came to know God, I was seeking for happiness in the wrong ways. After having a transformative conversion on a mission trip, I changed my habits to make Jesus the center of my life and surrounded myself with good community to help me strive towards God every day.
After growing in friendship with the FOCUS missionaries on campus, I admired the way they lived. I saw a difference from the way they were living compared to the way the world tells us how to live. Eventually, God made it very clear that becoming a missionary was on my heart. Being friends with the FOCUS missionaries and being a student involved in FOCUS, helped me to understand the purpose of the mission. Over time, this mission has helped me to become more of who I am by growing closer to God, and I want to be able to do the same for those college students who are searching for something more.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. Mother Teresa once said, “Some go to give to the mission; others give to go on the mission”. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you!!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
