We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly.” John 10:10
This year I will be returning to Drake University and serving as the team director. Go Bulldogs!!
My story can almost totally be described in one sentence: Jesus is real and He relentlessly pursues us. I came into college and somewhat knew that this was true, but it was primarily head knowledge to me. That all changed my freshman year of college, specifically after a bonfire during welcome week, where I met some incredible friends who cared so deeply for me and started to walk with me as I grew in relationship with Jesus, and started to KNOW in a real way the love of the Father. Throughout college as I grew deeper in love with Jesus, His Church and His people, I became more convicted of the need to share what I received and invite others into the truth of who they are as beloved sons and daughters of the Father. Four years later, that led to a call to step onto another college campus and to be His missionary.
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. Jesus has transformed my life and I want every student on campus to encounter the Person of Jesus Christ in a powerful way! My hope and prayer for this year is that our campus would be radically changed by the Holy Spirit drawing all students to the Heart of the Father, as they come to know Jesus and live fully alive in His Church!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in going on mission together, please let me know of the best way to reach you and we can set up a time to talk. I would love to share in this mission with you!
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
