We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 8:38-39
I am so excited to serve the students at Minnesota State University! Go Mavs!!
I was blessed to have been raised Catholic, but when I started college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, my faith became an afterthought. I saw God as a distant rule-bearer rather than a loving Father with whom I was made for relationship, and I went through the motions simply because I felt like I had to. During my sophomore year, I realized that if Jesus was truly who He said He was, loved me to the point of death on a cross, and desired more than anything for me to love Him in return, that had some pretty big implications for my life! I knew I wanted to become closer to Christ, but I wasn’t totally sure how. Thankfully, I encountered FOCUS missionaries, both at UW-Madison and through FOCUS Summer Projects, who invited me to make Jesus the center of my life and taught me how to grow in relationship with Him—the relationship we are all made for—through daily prayer, sacraments, and their authentic friendship and witness to the gospel. Knowing Christ has filled my life with more joy than I ever could have imagined, and I am so excited to become a missionary and let Christ work through me to bring this joy to others!
When I said yes to becoming a missionary full-time, I also said yes to relying on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners. Even if you can’t physically be on mission with me, your support is what makes it all possible! I would be honored to have you join me on mission–if you are interested, please let me know how to best reach you and we can set up an appointment!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
