We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hi, my name is Brock Zeagler. I’m entering into my first year as a FOCUS missionary.
God has called me to Starkville, Mississippi to serve at Mississippi State University. I’m excited to get to know the great people that make up the community there in Starkville.
Like many of the men God has sent me on mission to encounter, I entered college looking to be fulfilled by the things the world says will make you happy. No matter what it was I was left empty, knowing my heart was longing for something more. Part of my story was joining a fraternity looking for authentic friendship. By the grace of God I met some great friends who invested in me through the fraternity, and through one friend who would be my roommate for the next couple of years I met a Focus missionary. This man invested in me and my roommate very intentionally. He cared for us as children of God and deeply invested in friendship with us, even to the point of waking up at 6:00 a.m. every morning to workout. He loved us for who we were despite the sins we were involved in, but part of loving us meant calling us higher to pursue the Lord in every aspect of our lives. God has unceasingly pursued me through the men and women He has placed in my life and now He is sending me out to be placed in his other children’s lives. God has done this for me and He undoubtably now wants me to give what I have received.
When I look back at how my story turned out, I would have never been reached by that missionary if it weren’t for his mission partners that financially enabled him to come to Lafayette, Louisiana. Mission partners share just as much in the glory of reaching souls for the Kingdom of God as any missionary does. Our work could not be done if it weren’t for the men and women who enables us to do so, but most importantly neither of our works could be possible if it weren’t for every good gift that comes from God. If becoming a mission partner with me through financial support is something you feel God is calling you to do, please contact me at (318) 471-5298 or email me at [email protected].

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
