Where I serve

After spending four years as a missionary and a Team Director at Tulane University, God has called me to be a Regional Director for the South Area! I will now oversee campuses in Tennessee, South Carolina, and Kentucky. In God’s Providence, I get to oversee Vanderbilt (my alma mater), and this is the region I prayed to take over!

Over the past four years with FOCUS, I’ve had the privilege to experience great fruit through God’s grace. I began with 3 disciples at Tulane, one less-than-well attended Bible study, and no sorority-specific studies. By the end of my time at Tulane, I saw six women become FOCUS missionaries themselves, Bible Studies launched in 5 sorority houses and 1 varsity athletics team, and I watched several students begin to disciple others. Now, as a Regional Director, my life on mission “by the numbers” has gone from those first 3 disciples to working with 4 Diocese, 6 campuses, 6 Team Directors, and 32 total missionaries! What a gift!

This quote from Pope Francis is the simplest form of my testimony: It is not the same thing to have known Jesus as not to have known Him. When I was a college student at Vanderbilt University, my life was deeply transformed by Jesus through meeting FOCUS missionaries who radiated the Joy of the Gospel as Pope Francis puts it. Through their friendship, I encountered Christ’s love in a new way and was gifted a great zeal to reach others. I would love to share more about my story with you!
