God has intentionally called me to serve college students at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. This will be my third year serving with FOCUS, God has blessed my time and I am eager to see what He continues to do at Lamar.

As a missionary, I made the choice to devote my life to helping students and the local community during this time because I deeply believe in this mission. Christ has transformed my life in a radical way, and I’d love to share my story with you.

During my years at Texas State University, I came to know genuine friendships with others through FOCUS at our Catholic Center. I learned the beauty of community and striving for a virtuous life there.

Jesus has transformed my life during my time in college and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others, in doing so by introducing them to the life-changing message of the Gospel and being a supportive person in their life.

In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, take on our humanity, and spend most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I’ve been constantly amazed by the different souls I’ve encountered on campus.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to invite others on this mission with me and rely on both the spiritual and financial support of mission partners.
