Hey! My name’s Carly. I’m a FOCUS-Varsity Catholic missionary.

Totus tuus ego sum.

Where I serve

God has called me to serve our own missionaries in a position with the Varsity Catholic National Team! While I loved my time at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and Northwest Missouri State during my first three years as a missionary, I am excited to see what the Lord has in store for me in my in my seventh year with FOCUS. Now my role consists of walking with 18 Varsity Catholic missionaries serving at campuses across the country. I meet with each of these missionaries on a weekly basis to walk with them as they continue to give an incredible “YES” to the Lord by serving His beloved people.

I have continued to remain in absolute awe of the Lord and His goodness in this new role. I have grown in such amazement of all that He is doing on all the campuses I work with. Jesus radically changed my life while playing softball in college, and it such a gift to share how He radically changed my heart with the missionaries I now serve.

My Story

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I’ve been constantly amazed by the different souls I’ve encountered on campus.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
