We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I am heading into my third year serving on campus, this year in a new role as Team Director at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana! I served my first two years at Winona State University in Winona, Minnestoa, and I am thrilled to be returning to my home state of Indiana! Go Tigers!
Below is a picture of my team on placement day– Lauren (second year), Colin (first year), Isaac (second year), and I. We’re all new to Greencastle this year, and so excited to be sharing the Gospel at DePauw!
My greatest desire is to lead others to Christ. My life has taken so many twists and turns and through the grace of God, I’ve found myself serving as a missionary, winning souls for Christ! Since high school, I’ve had a desire to pursue my faith, but I didn’t truly understand what it meant to have a real and personal relationship with Jesus Christ until my senior year of college. In my spring semester, I took part in a 90-day program that brought me closer to myself and my sisters in Christ, but most importantly Jesus Himself through the practices of prayer, fasting and asceticism. A few months later, I started a job as an intern at the St. Paul Catholic Center at Indiana University. In this role, I continued to grow deeper in a life of prayer and the sacraments, and as much as I loved Bloomington and its good people, I knew that I wanted to pursue even more deeply a job in which I could have a lasting impact on others and walk with them as they jump into a life on fire for Christ. (TLDR; I wanted to be leading others toward Christ through intentional conversation and sharing the Gospel, and I’ve found no better place than FOCUS in which I can learn how to do that and apply those skills!) In April of 2022, I accepted an offer as a FOCUS missionary and it’s been a wonderful walk alongside Christ and many loved ones since.
As a FOCUS missionary, I have a special opportunity to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners who help me to be fully on mission. I’m incredibly blessed to be supported by several friends, family, and loved ones who come with me out on mission in Winona and beyond. I am so grateful for a wonderful group of people who journey with me in the highs, lows, joys and sufferings of mission. If you are interested in joining me in my mission to the students of Winona and the sharing of the Gospel, please let me know and I would love to schedule an appointment with you– I’d love to share more with you and to have you join me!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
