We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I’m a missionary serving the students of Queen’s University Belfast in Northern Ireland! I am incredibly excited to be working with FOCUS for the growth of the Kingdom here, especially given its impact upon my own life.
As with many Irish families, I was blessed to be raised in a Catholic household. Across my childhood, I attended Sunday Mass and received the Sacraments but only out of habit from the lingering cultural norms of Irish Catholicism. As a result, my faith was shallow, lacking any relationship with Jesus. As a teenager, it died and thereafter I spent several years searching for meaning in my work and in the culture. This changed following several encounters with the unconditional friendship of the FOCUS missionaries through the Catholic society in University College Dublin. Through their invitation to a Catholic conference in Arizona, I came to experience the reality of the love of Jesus present here and now in our lives and most especially in the Sacraments. After this, my faith became deep and real. I chose to get involved with the Bible studies and retreats that FOCUS offered while also making prayer a priority, attending daily Mass where possible. Eventually, I moved into the FOCUS men’s house in Dublin, where through the deep friendship of one missionary named Moses, I came to understand that the LORD was calling me to His mission. What an immense blessing it is to be serving the students of Belfast! I can’t wait to see what He has in store for them!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
If you are interested in partnering with me, please shoot me an email at [email protected] and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
