We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hi there! My name’s Christine. I’m a FOCUS missionary at University of California, Irvine.
Welcome friends! The Good Father has eagerly blessed me with the privilege of serving at the University of California, Irvine! I am continually graced by His abundance and his entrustment of walking with amazing students at this beautiful campus. You can typically find me cooking for and hosting friends, thrift shopping, trying every Boba store and restaurant in town, and laughing ’til my stomach hurts! Come join me on my newest adventure! Go anteaters!
“Your worst day as a daughter of God will be far more joyful than your best day as an achiever” – My dear friend, Fr. Drew Hoffman (Chaplain at Wichita State University)
Through five fond years of learning and excelling in my studies in college, I found that my worth wasn’t rooted in what I could offer the world, but how the Father saw me as His Beloved. With the overwhelming desire to share the good news of our inherent worth as His children, our good Father found a way to invite me into mission as His FOCUS Missionary!
My hope is to live through Christ’s example and to be His vessel on how He chooses to touch people’s lives. Yet, more importantly, I am incredibly eager to encounter Jesus through the students I get to love and serve at UC Irvine.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and monthly financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me and supporting me at a monthly basis, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule a phone call or an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
