It is my joy to serve my third year of mission at Wayne State College in Wayne, NE! I am privileged to walk towards heaven with college women, especially those in sororities. My team (left to right) includes Luke, baby Ambrose, Monica, Jordyn, Eli, Seneca, and myself!

Mission in the Midwest is an incredible gift. In contrast to more direct hostility towards faith in Los Angeles, CA, the college towns of Vermillion and Wayne are generally Christian. However, since students have not encountered confrontation as to why they are Catholic, lukewarmness can seep into the spiritual life. One of the best ways to disprove that Christian life is boring is through living adventure and joy in union with Christ!

I started college at the American University of Paris, where I discovered my deep restlessness and longing for meaning. When I transferred to the University of Southern California, I met Brie, a FOCUS missionary on campus. Her desire to love God with all of herself reignited my faith, which had faltered despite my Christian upbringing. The witness of friends who were fully alive through relationship with Jesus Christ inspired me to pursue Him wholeheartedly, and I entered the Catholic Church on Easter Vigil in 2019! I have been continually blown away by the goodness of God, and how He has transformed my life and given me so much purpose. He is the source of my joy, and I am zealous to share Him with the world.
