I am serving as a full-time missionary at the University of Tampa in Florida!

Throughout my life I was always pretty involved in my faith. Leading retreats, going to conferences, and hosting bible studies I always loved doing all the things to check off the “Catholic list”. In high school I started to encounter God in a deeper way and began to realize there was more, however I continued to not change my habits and morals to align to what I was preaching. It wasn’t until second semester of my freshman year of college when I encountered a FOCUS missionary when I realized I needed to take my faith seriously. Walking with my missionary allowed me to realize all the ways I wasn’t actually pursing my faith and how I was still getting caught up in the college scene. Through bible study, discipleship, and encountering me in authentic friendship I came to understand what it actually meant to give my life to Christ. I began taking daily prayer more seriously, regularly attending the sacraments, but I still felt there was a deeper call. I realized that while I knew the love of Christ, the thousands of other students around me in my classes and on campus didn’t. The Lord began to place on my heart the desire to share the gospel with those who needed it most. I understood what it felt like to be alone and not know who I was in college, especially when most are leaving their faith. I wanted to deeply share not only the love God has for each person, but also lead them to deep understanding of their identity as a son or daughter. That is why I said yes to be a FOCUS Missionary! I am so excited to share the gospel to the world and follow where the Lord is taking me! As St. John Paul the Great said, Be Not Afraid!

Part of the incredible call to mission is inviting others to go with me! I will be relying completely on mission partners to support me both spiritually and financially.
