After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin (May 2019) where I studied Human Development and Family Science, the Lord invited me to be a full-time missionary. I served at The University of Oklahoma for three years and I am currently serving in my second year at The University of Southern Mississippi.

Life lived with Jesus has been the most radical call of my life and has led me to places I could’ve never imagined. It is such a joy to follow His lead and bring people alongside me as I journey to Heaven.

When I went to college, I knew that I wanted faith to be part of my life but I wasn’t quite sure what that would look like. As I began to come around the Catholic Center, I met a girl named Emily. There was something different about Emily…she had a joy that I had never witnessed before and I wanted a taste of it. What began as a simple greeting after Mass, turned into a friendship that changed the trajectory of my life. Emily taught me the art of living a life joyfully rooted in Christ, showed me the beauty of the teachings of our Church, and walked with me as I began to fall in love with our Lord.

College is a time when young people make some of the biggest decisions of their lives – what career they will have, who they want to become, what they are passionate about, and whether or not they will live a life of faith. Our college campuses are in need of more individuals like Emily who will zealously step into the lives of other people and lead them to a relationship with Jesus. This is why I am a FOCUS missionary.

As a full-time missionary, I have the honor of journeying with college women and introducing them to the person of Christ. Additionally, as a Team Director, I get to form my teammates and walk with them as they too grow in their relationship with God and become effective missionaries. Constantly, I am filled with hope for the young generation of Catholics and future leaders of our world!

When I answered the call to serve God through FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners. It is a delight to invite people to come on mission with me.
