Where I serve

After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin in 2019, the Lord called me to serve as a full-time FOCUS missionary. I had so many other plans for my life and I truly could’ve never imagined being a missionary. But with time, I’ve learned that the story that God is writing with my life and the adventure that He is leading me through is far greater. It has been my life’s joy to surrender everything to Jesus Christ and answer the call to mission.

I served three years at the University of Oklahoma and two years at the University of Southern Mississippi, where I was the Team Director. This year, I’m coming back to the great state of Texas to serve at Texas Tech University!

My Story

People often ask me why I am a missionary and why I continue to say yes to mission on the college campus. Here’s the short answer – this is how God is calling me to lay down my life for souls. We are in a battle for an entire generation of souls and this is where I am being called to fight. We live in a fallen world, yet too few people know that Jesus Christ is the source of our hope.

College is a time when young people make some of the biggest decisions of their lives – what career they will have, who they want to become, what they are passionate about, and whether or not they will live a life of faith. For me, the start of college was an especially challenging time and it was in that season of turmoil that I met God. Through friendship with faithful peers and FOCUS missionaries, I came to know that Jesus Christ is a personal God who desires relationship with me. I learned that our suffering holds merit and that Jesus is incapable of forsaking us. The more I came to know Jesus, the more I fell in love with His Church and desired to be on mission for the whole world.

When I answered the call to serve God through FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of Mission Partners. It is an honor to invite people to come on mission with me.
