“Man, who is the only creature on earth which God willed for itself, cannot fully find himself except through a sincere gift of himself.” – St. John Paul II

Where We serve

Clayton is now serving his 2nd year as a Regional Director with FOCUS, leading 8 campuses in the state of Texas with 34 missionaries and 1500 students involved in bible studies. After spending  three years in Stillwater, OK serving as missionaries at Oklahoma State our family of 4 has moved to Denver, CO! Oklahoma State holds a special place in our hearts as the town where we began our lifelong journey of marriage together. John Paull II once said, “As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live.” We hope that our family life can be a missionary witness to the missionaries and students whom we serve and we hope to build future husbands, fathers, wives, mothers, priests and religious for the Glory of God!

Our Story

In December 2019, we were married in College Station, TX at our spiritual home, St. Mary’s Catholic Center. On that day we were joined together to reflect the love that Christ has for His Bride, the Church. We fully believe that our union is meant to draw each other towards our true Bridegroom, Jesus Christ, and our eternal union with Him. If our marriage, even our whole lives, is not lived for this then what is it worth? If our destiny is union with God in heaven then our pilgrimage starts today.

The love that exists between the Father and the Son is meant to be shared with the whole world, with all of creation, with every son and daughter of the Father. It is a gift of love that brings love, joy, and peace, security and faith, kindness and gentleness. We have tasted this love ourselves; we have met and encountered Jesus who reveals the face of our Creator, Our Father. It is He who invited us to give our lives, our marriage, and our family to sharing His Love, revealing His Face, and proclaiming the Good News that Our Father is good, that He loves us, and that He desires our eternal peace and joy in relationship with Him made possible through the Cross, Death, and Resurrection of His Son.

Our story is also your story. It is that we have been separated by God because of sin but in His Goodness He has redeemed us. Why? Because Our Lord created us for Himself and to share in everything that is His. To be separated from that is Hell. To be joined in that is all that we could ever ask for or dream of – it is Heaven.

Clayton’s Story – A lot of young men dream of going to college, being on their own, and finding what they are looking for in alcohol, women, academics, success in any of its forms, and positions of honor. Every young boy wants to become a man that is respected, happy, and fulfilled. Sadly, many are lied to about what it takes to get there, including me. Our culture sells worldly gain and material wealth as the path to respect. Our culture sells sex and admiration from women as the path to fulfillment. Our culture sells a lot of “stuff” that fools us into thinking that our happiness is found in it. And it leaves us constantly searching and waiting for the next thing.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.”

In many ways I was the merchant in search of fine pearls. I was looking for that thing that would satisfy in many different areas – money, athletic success, academic success, women, alcohol, honor. All of those things were good and made sense for a while but they didn’t quite satiate. But in January of my freshmen year I encountered the “one pearl of great value” at FOCUS’ SEEK2015 Conference in Nashville, TN. It was upon meeting Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, hearing Him call out to me and invite me to follow Him that I “went and sold all that [I] had.” The call of Jesus struck me to the heart. I knew upon seeing Him in the Eucharist that the way I had been looking for to fulfillment was found in Him who is “the way, the truth, and the life.” Since that encounter I have continued to follow and He has led me on the greatest adventure of my life that now takes me to Stillwater, OK with my beautiful wife and son. All for the greater glory of God!

Your Impact

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I have been given an incredible opportunity to partner with many men, women, and families who have decided to take this journey alongside my family. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know how I can reach you and we can set up an appointment or phone call. It would be an honor to share this mission with you.
