I am blessed to serve at the University of Southern Mississippi as a FOCUS missionary. I’m thoroughly excited to serve along with my team. Southern Miss to the top!!

I grew up going to church every Sunday and was very involved in Catholic faith, participating in CCD and CYO during high school. I then received a scholarship to attend Pearl River Community College and then Mississippi State University, where I continued practicing the Catholic faith. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I became more of a “box checking Catholic”, attending mass and confession but not fully participating. I eventually was motivated to get more involved with the Catholic community at Mississippi State University, St. Joseph, and the FOCUS group there. Through the FOCUS missionaries, I was presented the gospel in such a way that it radically changed my life. Now as a FOCUS missionary I am seeking to change the world by bringing the love and joy I experienced to all of the students I am honored to serve.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
