Hello! My name is Daniel Paris, and I’m a Senior Formation Specialist with FOCUS. Thank you for visiting my page!

Where I serve

I serve as a Senior Formation Specialist at the Denver Support Center (formerly known as FOCUS headquarters). I serve as a “missionary to the missionaries.” Alongside wonderful teammates, I train and form staff in the areas of human, spiritual, intellectual, and apostolic formation so that they can be more effective evangelists on the college campus.

My Story

I joined FOCUS as a campus missionary in 2012. I was blessed to be a part of the first-ever FOCUS team at Harvard College in Cambridge, MA. It was a challenging year, but it was truly amazing to work with so many exceptional students who are searching for the truth. I led three freshman Bible studies and mentored a student named Eli who later became the first FOCUS student leader at Harvard. The missionary effort at Harvard has grown so much over the past few years, and four Harvard students have gone on to join FOCUS staff as missionaries – including Eli!

My second year on staff, I served as Team Director at George Washington University in Washington, DC. I continued my work of leading Bible studies and discipling students. It was a privilege to work with so many students striving to live the Catholic faith in a secular, hotly politicized part of the country. It was an amazing thing to watch several of the students I worked with go on to discern religious vocations after college.

After two years on campus, I knew God was calling me away from the campus missionary scene. I accepted a job at the Denver Support Center so that I could make an even larger impact in the apostolate, serving our missionaries across the country. God has blessed me in countless ways through FOCUS. Thank you so much for partnering with me in this mission!
