We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Thanks for supporting our family and our mission!
We are very excited to serve at Indiana University (Daniel’s alma mater!). It is such a joy to be on mission together and invite people into our family life. We love having the friends we meet on campus over for a meal, to play pickleball, or play board games!
Just before my junior year of college at Indiana University, I had a major intellectual conversion to Catholicism. Providentially, that same year, FOCUS missionaries arrived on campus, and one of them quickly formed a friendship with me and invited me to his Bible study. Getting plugged into the Catholic community proved to be tough for me, and there were many times that semester that I considered going back to the Christian ministry I had previously been involved in. But it was the friendship of that one FOCUS missionary that kept me coming back to Bible study and other events at the Catholic Center.
That Winter, I attended my first FOCUS conference in Chicago, and was blown away by the whole event. All of the stereotypes I had believed and grudges I had held toward Catholicism melted away, and for the first time I found myself excited to be Catholic. The next semester I found myself growing deeply in prayer and frequenting the sacraments more regularly.
My senior year, I began to lead a Bible Study at the encouragement of that same missionary, and despite some of my hesitations, I found it to be the defining experience of my entire college career. I found that living for the sake of others, I was more fulfilled than I’d ever been. I was finally living as I was made to live. Now I have the joy of doing that full time and love nothing more than sharing Christ’s love with others and teaching them to do the same.

Some give by going, others go by giving. – St. Mother Teresa
It is not practical for everyone to go into full time ministry, but we are called to be a part of Jesus’ command to go make disciples of all nations. Your support is what allows me to be radically available to the students at IU so that I can meet them where they’re at. I am so thankful for all the mission partners who already support me. If you would like to partner with me in this mission, please don’t hesitate to contact me and I would love to schedule an appointment with you!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
