Where I serve

After serving six years on campus in Chicago and at Indiana University, I now serve as a regional director for schools in the Midwest. I lead teams at eight schools across Ohio, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Coaching the team directors on those campuses to be great leaders is a joy for me every week!

My Story

Coming into my junior year at Indiana University, I was wrestling with my faith and lacked Catholic community. Thanks to a high school friend who was deeply involved in FOCUS, I was growing more convicted I needed good Catholic friends and to start going to mass.

My friend introduced me to a missionary who invited me to his Bible study and to attend the FOCUS conference in Chicago. Both the conference and that Bible study brought me deeper into the Catholic community and I found myself growing in prayer, frequenting the sacraments more regularly, and eventually leading a Bible study of my own.

Leading that Bible study was the final nail in the coffin. Living a life poured out for others was so much better than living a life centered around myself. I was happier than I’d ever been. The experience opened me up to the idea of working for FOCUS full time. It is a great joy to serve the organization that God used to impact my own life so profoundly.
