The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”
In my junior year of college, I had a profound encounter with God, and I desired to conform my life to Christ. A FOCUS missionary at the University of Oklahoma walked with me in discipleship, led me in Bible study, and soon my love for Jesus became the center of my life. Now I will be sharing that same love for Jesus Christ with students at the University of Memphis!
You can help shape the lives of these students, too! Not all of us are called to go out evangelize this way, but we can all support the building of God’s Kingdom. Mission partners are side-by-side, in spirit, with missionaries, equipping us with the resources to build God’s Kingdom and the prayers, support, and love that push us to reach as many souls as possible!
