After four years on as a Campus Missionary, I have moved into a managerial role as a Senior Event Specialist with FOCUS. I currently work at the FOCUS headquarters which is based in Denver, Colorado. 

As a former college student, I understand the many temptations and distractions that young people face in this world. It is all too easy to seek false purpose and security in worldly things, but I know now that true fulfillment and love can only be found in a relationship with God.

It was on a mission trip to Papua New Guinea with FOCUS after graduating from John Brown University in Arkansas that I finally encountered the love of God for myself. It was there that I formed a personal relationship with the Lord and experienced authentic love for the first time. I realized that I didn’t have to earn love, but that it was freely given to me through the grace of God.

Before taking on my role as a senior event specialist with FOCUS, I had the privilege of serving college students at both George Mason University and Brown University for four years. During this time, I was able to help many students encounter God for themselves and begin to live out their faith.

We were all made for a relationship with God and this is our true purpose in life. As a Missionary, I am passionate about helping others experience this truth for themselves and live out their faith.

As a senior event specialist with FOCUS, I am able to bring the love and hope of God to even more students. Through planning and executing events and retreats, I have the opportunity to create environments where students can encounter God for themselves and be transformed by His love. I know firsthand the power of experiencing God’s love and I am passionate about helping others do the same.  

It is times like these that remind me of the importance of my mission and the need for missionaries in the world today.
