We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“It is Jesus you seek when you dream of happiness; He is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you.”
Saint John Paul the Great
I am blessed to be serving Christ and his Church for a seventh year by sharing the Gospel and diving deeply into mission from the FOCUS national support center! I am excited to continue my work as a Sr. Formation Specialist. This role will permit me the opportunity to strategize, design, and develop all the formative curriculum offered to our 800+ missionaries and thousands of students on campus. Please read below about how I came to this place!
I grew up in a loving, Catholic household and attended Catholic schools until college, but I did not know the person of Jesus until I was brought face-to-face with loneliness, anxiety, and lack of satisfaction with life when I was 20. Everything began to change when a FOCUS missionary on my campus invited me to go with her to Dallas during the winter break for a conference. Little did I know the Lord would be waiting to meet me that week in my broken-heartedness, my fear, and my longing for more.
As I began to grow in understanding of Scripture, prayer, the sacraments, and what it meant to walk as a disciple of Jesus Christ, I decided to go on a mission trip with FOCUS to India for a full month in 2016. That month radically transformed my heart and brought healing to me that I did not know was possible. I came back with an inkling of a desire to be a missionary myself– how could I keep to myself the goodness that I had experienced firsthand?
Since becoming a missionary I have had the privilege of serving in two amazing cities, on two phenomenal campuses: Harvard and NYU.
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I’ve been amazed by the souls I’ve encountered on campus, many who’ve become dear friends and whose lives have been transformed by grace1
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
