We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“I have nothing left but I still have my heart and with that I can love” – Blessed Chiara Luce
Growing up I was raised Catholic and my faith was something that my parents always prioritized. They taught me that I could always talk to Jesus throughout my day. However, in high school I went on a retreat over the summer and had my first encounter Jesus in the Eucharist. After the retreat I went about my life and had the regular post retreat high that soon fell off shortly after. Once going to college at Texas A&M University, I encountered people who encouraged me to attend daily mass, and to have a daily prayer life. Living a life of daily prayer, being in a bible study, and growing in community with women changed my life and led me to desire even more. I truly felt like the habits I had formed at my campus were solidified once I spent a summer as a camp counselor at Camp Wojtyla. Serving there radically changed my prayer life and introduced me into a deeper intimacy with Christ and his Church.
One of the greatest things I learned from serving at camp is that life to the full IS life with Jesus Christ. We were created to be in communion with God, others, ourselves and creation. I am overjoyed to bring that truth that I have learned to campus throughout these next couple years.
In answering God’s call to serve FOCUS, I accepted the call to rely spiritually and financially on God throughout these next couple years. This could not be possible without you support. I can not wait to work with you and the Lord to impact those who might not know Jesus Christ. If you are interested in joining me on mission, I would love to set up a meeting with you!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
