God has called me to serve the college students of New York University in Manhattan, NY. This will be my first re-location since having served at Towson University in Baltimore, MD for four years. I am so excited to continue year five with a new team, new students, as well as continuing to the relationships God has put into my life these past four years. It has been the most adventurous and humbling time of my life to be at Towson, and I cannot wait to see where mission takes me in New York, please pray for my new team and I as we venture into this year together. Go Violets!

During my sophomore year of college I transferred to the University of North Texas where I first encountered souls that radically changed my life forever. The people in this Catholic community met me where I was at in my brokenness and loved me enough to call me to a higher more virtuous lifestyle. I had been a practicing Catholic my whole life but up until this point I was completely missing a relationship with Jesus. These people showed me what that personal relationship looked like. Once I realized the joy that came from a relationship with Jesus, everything else seemed to fall into place. I finally realized that no matter what I did from this point forward, God had to be in the center of every part of my life. I couldn’t help but want to share this joy with others. Becoming a FOCUS missionary has helped me to live out this joy more fully especially in the realm of college ministry where the love of Christ is so desperately needed. When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
