We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hi! I’m Emily and I’m excited to serve alongside my husband, Branson, at Christ the King in Tulsa. During my time as a college missionary, I began to experience a draw towards serving the families in the parish especially as we build our own family. I’m passionate about bringing people together and facilitating a space where each person can grow in their relationship with each other and our Lord.

I grew up in a Catholic home and my parents did a wonderful job prioritizing our faith. I’m blessed by my strong foundation of faith which planted many seeds so that I might encounter the Lord in a deeper way down the road. In college I attended a FOCUS Bible study where I was drawn to the beauty and truth of our faith in a radical way. I was challenged to consider my own relationship with Jesus and to recognize His love for me. This challenge not only led me to desire to be more committed to my faith in college but Jesus gave me a much bigger vision for my life and allowed me to be open to what He might have in store for me. I began to want His plan for my life far more than my own. My senior year of college, I felt a big pull to serve other college students who might need to know the love of the Father in the way that I did. I applied to be a FOCUS missionary and since then spent several years serving college students in Kentucky and Ohio. I got married in 2020 and now have 2 little boys. My husband, Branson and I live in Oklahoma and serve in a parish in a role very similar to our role as campus missionaries. I love getting to work alongside my husband at Christ the King. For two years the Lord has blessed our efforts to build up disciples and, in addition, has given us the gift of many dear friends. We are on a continual journey of growth in our own holiness and we are learning so much from our experience as spouses, parents, and in our work at Christ the King.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
