Where I serve

After serving my first year at Queens College in New York City, I am excited to announce that I will be serving my second year on mission at Central Connecticut State University!

My Story

Throughout my undergraduate studies at community college and then at California State University, Sacramento, I always sensed that Jesus was calling me to serve Him and His Church in a deeper way than just going to Mass and participating in youth groups.

But I never answered Him until my third year in college.

I pushed myself towards ministry work at the Sacramento State Newman Center as a student council member and helping various young adult groups in Sacramento. Those two years were full of joy and growth, but I knew in my heart that I desired to serve Jesus fully without constraint and share His thirsting, merciful Heart with others.

After finishing college in December 2023, I went to SEEK, a national FOCUS conference with 20,000+ attendees in 2024 alone, with my closest friends, two of whom are also FOCUS missionaries! I got to know the work of FOCUS and their vision for the New Evangelization and see the fruits of their labor!

I was moved by the invitation to become a missionary from talking with a FOCUS regional director at SEEK and I knew then that the Lord was calling me to show His Heart on college campuses with FOCUS!

My first year as a FOCUS Missionary at Queens College in New York City was beautifully challenging. I worked with a great group of guys and helped them grow in their relationship with the Lord. I am proud to say that working with the Lord in New York bore much fruit! Now I’m excited to be sent to Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT!
