We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
What’s up guys! My name is Ethan Dingman, and I am a second-year missionary serving at University of Nebraska Kearney.
I grew up in a Catholic household and attended a Catholic school and went to church. I learned that Christ was very important, but I never had any deep conviction for the faith, and I wasn’t willing to put him in the center of my life. I was trying to find my identity through music, lifting weights, and was living in recurring sin. It wasn’t until I went to college and attended the Newman Center where I slowly began to see that my true identity is being a child of God. What solidified this was attending SEEK my junior year of college. I decided to pray with an intercessory prayer team for the first time. I was absolutely overwhelmed by His presence to the point where I was crying like an absolutely baby to my Father. It felt like he was holding me in the palm of his hand like a helpless baby chick wanting to rescue me from sin and death. It was at this moment where I realized that He is pleased with me and loves me to no end and that he wanted to transform me. From this moment on, I vowed to put God in the center of my life and to strive to be like him. After a while, God made it abundantly clear that he was calling me to be a missionary, and he placed me in Kearney Nebraska where much of my family just happen to be from! God’s providence has been very evident through the students that I have worked with so far and I am beyond excited to see what else God continues to have in store for me as well as my amazing Loper team!
When answering the call to serve God through sharing the gospel with students, I also made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I have been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know the best way I can reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I would be absolutely honored to share this mission with you. Know of my prayers for you and may God bless you and keep you until then.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
