This year I will be at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX for my third year on staff. I look forward to meeting students, journeying with them towards Christ, and equipping them to lead others to do the same.

During my time in college, I wrestled with feeling called to a deeper relationship with Christ while at the same time doubting many aspects of the faith I grew up learning. There are a handful of people on my campus who made a huge impact on keeping me close to Christ, simply by inviting me (over and over again) to join their Bible studies and share life with them. I am so incredibly thankful that the Lord surrounded me with community who let me question and doubt, but encouraged me to never stop turning to Christ. My view of the Catholic faith shifted in college it shifted from obligations to freedom, from bland to beautiful, from outdated to very much alive and present, here and now. I want to reach out to other students to shine a light on the importance of not just knowing about Christ, but of building a personal relationship with Him. I want to meet students right where they are, love them just as they are, but encourage them always to strive for more when it comes to knowing Christ.
