This year marks my tenth year with FOCUS and my fifth serving on the IT team here at our National Support Center in Genesee, Colorado. As the Senior Operations Analyst, my role is to foster collaboration, streamline processes, and provide training to our various departments so we all can effectively fulfill our Mission of making Christ known.

My husband Joseph and I met through our involvement with FOCUS as students at Colorado State University. Through the FOCUS community at CSU we encountered Christ in deeper ways, met life-long friends who shared our faith, were able to begin our relationship with the support of an amazing community, and were filled with zeal to share the joy and grace we had received.  Joseph graduated from CSU and joined FOCUS in 2011 serving as a missionary at the University of Colorado in Boulder. In November of that year I also interviewed and was invited to join staff as a missionary after completing my degree in Biomedical Sciences. Through God’s gratuitous providence, in 2012 Joseph and I were engaged, I graduated, we were married that August, and began our marriage as missionaries at CU Boulder two weeks later.

I joined the National support center as a Program Director in 2014 and, after the birth of our daughter Isabella in 2016, joined the IT team where I now get to use my gifts and talents to support our missionaries and staff here at the DSC and remove obstacles to our mission on campus and in the world.

Our family has been so immensely blessed to serve this mission through the generosity of our mission partners. Through your generosity, the Church around the world is being transformed and young people are encountering Christ.
