Where I serve

I’m currently serving as a Varsity Catholic missionary at Winona State University in Minnesota, where I have the joy of doing mission alongside five fellow FOCUS missionaries.

My Story

It wasn’t until the end of my college years that I began to desire and experience a personal relationship with Jesus. For most of college, I often found my identity within my sport of swimming. I was super blessed to meet some amazing missionaries and have authentic friendships at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, who helped me see who I truly am in God’s eyes. They inspired me to live joyfully and freely!

My loving parents raised me in the Catholic faith from an early age. I didn’t always understand why I did the things I did since I didn’t ask many questions. As I got more involved with my Newman Center on campus, I became more curious, more open, and more confident in my faith.

The more I learned, the more my heart was drawn to Jesus. Throughout this past year, I walked with several of my teammates by leading them in team prayers and Bible studies. My faith wasn’t something I just did; it became who I am. I’m so excited to journey with student-athletes, encouraging them and reminding them of their true identity in Christ!
