We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Man, who is the only creature on earth which God willed for itself, cannot fully find himself except through a sincere gift of himself”
Gaudium Et Spes 24
I will be serving the students at Georgia Tech as a Greek and Varsity Catholic Missionary this fall.
In my three years at Tulane University, FOCUS missionaries invested in me. Because those men and women dedicated years of their life to Christ and His Church, my vision, expectations and trajectory in life changed. I learned about the depth of the sacraments, the beauty and humility that emerges from pursuing virtue, and fulfillment in sacrifice for others. Just as my missionary lived I desire to follow Christs example as a servant leader to others.
While God speaks in a soft voice, I know I am called to guide others to pick up their cross and follow Him as I have mine.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
