Where I serve

For my first year on mission, the Lord has called me to serve at University of Southern California in Los Angeles. I cannot wait to see how the Lord plans to work in my life and the lives of the students I will encounter!

My Story

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ!

I grew up in a Catholic family and attended Catholic school k-12. I learned many facts about the faith, but never how to have a personal relationship with Jesus. It was not until my time in college at the University of Mary that I truly met Christ.

The community at the University of Mary is like nowhere else I have experienced. I was surrounded by so many people who were on fire for the faith- and wanted the same for me. I got involved in FOCUS Bible study, discipleship, campus ministry, and attending daily mass.

Although there was not one big moment where I came to know Christ, the entirety of college was a testament of me getting to know and love our Lord and see how His hand was working in every moment of my life. I was on the University ministry team during my junior year and this is where the Lord began to place on my heart the desire to live on mission. I was living in true joy and beautiful community while giving myself as a gift to others.

My time at college was a life changing experience because of the community the Lord blessed me with while being there. I have come to the realization that so many colleges are lacking these relationships to build one another up in their faith. I desire to walk with college students in their journey and to be that community of support for them. I want to help students experience the same joy and peace I have found in the Catholic faith and have an encounter with their truest friend, Jesus Christ.
