We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I serve at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. Pony Up. I’ll serve there for the next two years, God willing!
I’ve been Catholic my whole life, and Jesus has revealed Himself to me in many ways over the years. One of the most significant has been through my brothers in Christ, as iron sharpens iron. It’s been through the deep and consistent friendships with Catholic men that the character of Christ has been impressed upon me, and has inspired me to go and do the same for others.
I didn’t want to just maintain my faith in college, I wanted to share it, but I didn’t know how. FOCUS found me, and invited me into Bible studies, discipleship, and life-long friendships. I started my own Bible Study my sophomore year, and I’ve come to look at that study as some of the most meaningful work I’ve ever done. Against my practical idea of what a successful college graduate looked like, I felt called to let go of my dream to become an engineer (at least for the forseeable future), to finish what I had started with FOCUS.
One of the men in that ongoing bible study recently told me that if he had been told his first year that he would be so involved in the catholic community at Tech he wouldn’t have believed it. Another has told me that he didn’t really know if he believed that Christ existed before he was invited to encounter Him more deeply. Both of these men are now critical leaders in the Catholic MTU community. Praise God.
He’s not done yet. I know the Lord still has great plans for me and my ministry. But I can’t go alone.
Because of the radical need for full-time missionaries on college campuses, I have chosen to rely on the spiritual and financial help of others so that I can be free to devote my full effort to this mission. By supporting me, you can ensure that college students like myself are encountered and invited into life-long mission, raising up the next generation of leaders in the Church. So many people can be reached by the radical depth of conversion of one soul. Will you help me reach him?
If you are interested in supporting me, please reach out and I will set up an appointment with you. I would be honored to share the Mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
