My Story

I entered my college career searching for truth and feeling the ache to be seen and loved by those around me. Growing up a cradle Catholic taught me well the basic teachings of the faith, but it wasn’t until I encountered FOCUS on my college campus that I realized I was missing a huge part of it: a personal relationship and encounter with the person of Jesus Christ. The authentic love and joy that the missionaries and students in my Catholic center shared with me drew me into the community and eventually deeper in my faith. I was shown that the only love that mattered was that that He alone desired to give me and that I wasn’t going through this journey alone.

As a missionary, I want to be that witness of His love to those around me. “With such affection for you, we were determined to share with you not only the gospel of God, but our very selves as well, so dearly beloved had you become to us” 1 Thess. 2:8. I’m so incredibly blessed to be able to walk with students as they discover the beauty and love of the Father they were created for.
