I’m excited to be coming back for a fifth year on mission as the Team Director at Clemson University! Go Tigers!

As a student at Texas A&M University, I experienced a radical transformation through God’s relentless and personal pursuit of me. Even with good intention and the desire to be involved in my faith, I still was missing something very important. I did not know the Father. Very gently, God began to reveal himself to me as Father through bible study, the Sacraments, faith centered community, and personal prayer. It was through this pursuit that I realized I could have a personal relationship with Jesus and through this relationship that I came to know him and know myself fully. Because of my relationship with Christ, I long for others to share in this blessed life with me and Jesus.

As I came to know Him more, I began to live life with a newfound missionary mindset, to strive to share this Gospel with everyone I encountered in ways both big and small. This great zeal for souls given to me by the Father pushed me to consider full time ministry and it became clear at the beginning of my senior year that this was what God was asking of me.

It was only because of the relationship I built with Jesus through my time at A&M and with FOCUS as a student that I was able to say “yes” to serving as a missionary with the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS). It is my deepest desire to be united to God and, through that union, draw others into communion with him as well. As a missionary, it is a privilege to guide students as they enter a time of seeking themselves, seeking purpose, and really, seeking the Father. What a gift it is to walk towards eternity with these women!

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I have been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus and claimed a stake themselves in our shared mission for souls.
