We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called me to serve at Tulane University in New Orleans! Roll Green Wave!
I came to the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) in the fall of 2020, with the intent of going to Mass on Sundays and occasionally staying after for some free food. Quickly, however, a student leading a FOCUS bible study connected with me and began sharing his life with me, forming me in the faith, and drawing me closer to Our Lord. Over the course of the first two years of college, I began to develop the beginnings of a prayer life, a desire to know Jesus more intimately, and an amazing group of faithful friends.
At the start of my junior year, encouraged by my missionaries and mentors, I began leading a bible study at USC. This proved to be a very transformative and fruitful experience, for both myself and the men I was privileged to lead. As I began to spend more time in prayer, it became clear to me that God was calling me to commit to serving Him full-time as a FOCUS missionary. Towards the end of my junior year, I made the decision to join staff after graduation, in order to give what I had received at USC to the men on my new campus.
As a FOCUS missionary, I have made the decision to be entirely dependent on the prayerful and financial support of mission partners. The support of my mission partners allows me to practice radical generosity towards my students, removing any financial obstacles that may exist between them and the Gospel. If you are interested in joining me on mission, or learning more about my mission, please reach out to me by email ([email protected]) or phone (571-919-0134)- I would love to get to know you and share in this joyous mission with you! Praised be Jesus Christ, now and forever!
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
