“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. All of us, gazing with unveiled face on the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as from the Lord who is the Spirit.” – 2 Cor 3:18
I am blessed to return for a 3rd year to serve the students at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC)! Go Flames! I love dancing in the kitchen, jumping in puddles, EDM music, and odd science facts. But my favorite thing is to talk about the person of Jesus Christ over a cup of tea. I am honored to serve the students of UIC for a 3rd year as the FOCUS Team Director!
During my time at the University of Toledo, I was blessed to meet FOCUS missionaries who guided me on my faith journey. In their unique ways, the missionaries helped me to know the person of Jesus Christ. Through their intentional investment in me, I learned how to authenticallypray and encounter the Lord through relationship. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, I was stripped of many of the identities I developed in college. Left with nothing to turn to, I surrendered my whole life to the Lord. This is when I first felt the call to be a full-time FOCUS missionary.
I worked for a Catholic parish after graduating, and applied to FOCUS in September of 2020.The greatest desire of my heart is to share the joy and freedom I have found in living a life for Jesus. I am so honored to be able to go onto campus and encounter students where they are, as I was encountered during my time in college. I know the Lord will work through me to transform lives, as He has already done miracles in my heart!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS as a full-time missionary, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. If you are interested in joining my team, please let me know the best way to reach you, and I will schedule an appointment. I would be honored to share this mission with you.
“Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.” – Matthew 9:37-38
