We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called me deeper into mission this year! After serving two years as Team Director at Bridgewater State University, I will be moving (not too far) to Amherst, MA to be the Team Director at University of Massachusetts Amherst! I will have the honor of growing in friendship and faith with all the students each day, and hope to show them the joy of having a personal relationship with Christ. I have a pretty cool story about how Jesus has changed my life — I think you should hear it sometime! Come find me and I’d love to share it with you!
“For we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for the good works that God has prepared in advance, that we should live in them.” Ephesians 2:10
This is one of my favorite Bible verses because it reminds me that God has a beautiful plan for each of us, and He created us with care, knowing exactly what that plan was. I did not always know I would become a FOCUS missionary, but God did, and this is just one of the good works that God prepared in advance for me, and created me to do. As a missionary, and now Team Director, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ where they may recognize how loved they are and lead lives to become the great saints they are called to be. In college, my life was transformed by Jesus, and I want nothing more than to bring the joy of knowing Christ to others, and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel.
In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I’ve been constantly amazed by the different souls I’ve encountered on campus that allow me to learn more about God’s love and His plan for me, and all of the people He has placed on my path in this beautiful life.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to trust God completely with my life. I knew that He would place people in my life ready to join me in this adventure. By His providence, I rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me in His mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you as I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
