We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I have been given the wonderful opportunity to be returning to serve the students at Clemson University for my second year on staff!
The mission of FOCUS is to know Jesus Christ and fulfill His Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20 – “Go and make disciples of all nations”). This Great Commission is carried out in FOCUS by inviting students into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and then equipping them to go and share with other people that they encounter, the love they’ve experienced through that relationship.
During my freshman year at Texas A&M, one of my best friends shared with me what a personal relationship with Jesus had done, and was continuing to do, in his life. He invited me to his Bible study and into shared life with him. He really encouraged and challenged me to develop a routine of daily prayer, receive the Sacraments frequently, and to find a community of other people striving after virtue and relationship with Jesus. Through these three practices slowly being formed during my time in college, I have experienced great joy, peace, and freedom in school work, community, and my relationship with God.
As I continued through college, I began leading other guys in a Bible study and discipleship and continued to grow even more in my relationship with Jesus. As senior year was approaching, I took the opportunity to pray about and apply for this position as a campus missionary with FOCUS. I found a lot of joy in the thought of sharing Jesus with other men on college campus, so I accepted the position!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
