We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Working at the national office in Denver, I provide support to the mission through various ways. Whether it is reducing administrative burden for an individual missionary, coordinating with other departments to provide outreach events for students, or producing accurate financials which encourage informed decisions, the Accounting department strives to ensure stewardship of benefactor gifts to propel the mission of FOCUS to its full potential.
Without knowing how I got there (outside the grace of God), my journey to Benedictine College began a deeper understanding of my faith at a time of life that is most crucial for young adults. Consistently challenged by a FOCUS missionary to define what I believe; I can see where Jesus continued to act as the heartbeat in the background of my life. Following graduation, I spent one year volunteering with SOLT at a high school in Belize. Although it was one of the most impactful experiences of my life, I came back home with a transition to accounting. After three years in my role, I came to realize that I wanted to direct my commitment of time and effort towards the ultimate Truth in my faith. I was reminded of that heartbeat that has been an undeniable constant throughout my life and I was led to FOCUS. This is my 6th year serving with FOCUS and I am honored by the mission God has led me to. MariAnna, Maximilian, RoseMarie, and I welcomed Judah Gregory to the family in June, 2022. Max, Rosie, and Judah love to wrestle, giggle, and cry in unison.
FOCUS continues to fulfill the Great Commission in calling others into relationship with Jesus Christ. In my work, I decrease the administrative burden taken on by missionaries so they can engage more actively on the front line of their battleground. Additionally, I commit myself to stewardship, accountability, and to promote FOCUS’ growth and sustainability. Your partnership with me on this mission equally allows me to dedicate my entirety to the task at hand, serving others and bringing them to Christ.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
