Hi! My name is Jackie, and I am a fifth-year FOCUS missionary and a Program Director for the North Area Team!

Where I serve

After serving on campus in Wisconsin for four years, I have made the move to Denver, CO to serve the North Area Team as a Program Director! I love getting to serve the regional directors, missionaries, and students on our 56 campuses.

My Story

Throughout my time as a college student at Indiana University, my life was being transformed because of my encounter with the Eucharist and the incredible friends God blessed me with who encouraged me in daily prayer. God continued to draw me closer to Himself, and as He did so, I began to learn that the joy and freedom I had gained from deeper relationship with Jesus was not meant for me alone. My relationship with Christ was meant to be shared! Just as my friends had encouraged me to grow in my relationship with Jesus, I could do the same for others.

I said yes to becoming a missionary and then a Team Director with FOCUS, and God has abundantly blessed my time on campus in Wisconsin, first at UW-Oshkosh then at UW-Stevens Point. I’ve been constantly amazed by the incredible souls I’ve encountered on campus, and how Jesus continues to work in their lives and my own.

My life has been transformed by Jesus, and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus own example to find the best method of reaching the world. In my new role as Program Director, I will not only continue to live this mission in my own life but will work to support the North Area regional directors, missionaries, and students in carrying this out freely and fruitfully on their campuses.
