We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called me to serve college students at THE Ohio State University. You can find me most days around the Newman Center, at our sports facilities, or hanging out on campus.
My parents raised me in the beautiful Catholic Church. Throughout my middle school and high school years, I simply didn’t care enough to appreciate it. My identity was unstable, always reshaping to fit into my perfectionist, please-everybody mindset. Early in college, God used a few virtuous men to pull me out of the Godless culture that many of us college students so easily fall into. This is when I encountered the Newman Center, real friendships, and a deep desire to rediscover this faith. “Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.” (Jn. 15:5). I quickly learned that my life needed change! In that process, Jesus showed me that I was not just a student-athlete, but a beloved son.
Since then, my life has never been more full, adventurous, challenging, and exciting. Jesus continues to meet me where I am at and call me deeper to Himself and the lives of others through mission. Ask me about it sometime.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share Christ’s mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
