My Story

The Gospel is truly the Good News, and it is the most important message we must spread!

For most of my life, I sort of knew this was true, but never really thought deeply about it. It wasn’t until college that I realized the truths contained within the Gospel. I encountered FOCUS missionaries and other friends in college who walked with me in my faith journey and challenged my beliefs. The Holy Spirit was certainly working through these people, because my faith was set aflame. I joined Bible studies, a discipleship group, and eventually led my own study. Now, I am so blessed to have the opportunity to bring the Good News to the students of Dickinson State University and to everyone else I encounter. The Lord works in mighty and mysterious ways!

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful
and kindle in them the fire of your love.

Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created,
and you shall renew the face of the earth!

Your Impact

Saying “yes” to becoming a FOCUS missionary meant that I would be relying entirely on the spiritual and financial support of my mission partners.
