We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until we rest in you.” – St. Augustine of Hippo
I am honored to serve at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts as a first year Varsity Catholic missionary.
Growing up in a faithful homeschool family, my parents brought Christ into everything we did and I developed a love for the traditions and intellectual beauty of the faith. I’ve also spent most of my life in the mountains on skis, bikes, or my own trusty feet and encountered Christ in his amazing creation. I also fell in love with the beauty of a Catholic world through The Lord of the Rings. Ask me about mountains or Tolkien at your own peril. I may never stop talking.
While I attended Williams College and captained the ski team, the opening of Augustine’s Confessions, “You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until we rest in you,” struck close to my heart. I was able to pursue academics and athletics at the highest levels, but even the mountains didn’t satisfy my restless heart unless I was chasing Christ. I answered the call to FOCUS because the missionaries I met called me ceaselessly higher towards sanctity, and I can’t wait to challenge other students with the same call.
As a missionary, I have a great desire to help all students find Christ and experience his boundless love and mercy. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few through authentic friendship and equipping them to do the same for others. I look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching the world.
When I made the decision to commit the next two years of my life to mission with FOCUS, I committed to relying on the spiritual and financial backing of mission partners to send and support me on this mission. If you would like to support me, please let me know the best way to reach you; I would love to schedule an appointment to tell you about my mission.
Thank you for accompanying me in fulfilling the Great Commission and bringing souls to Christ!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
