God has called me to serve for my sixth year at the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh (UWO). I am so excited to walk with the women that the Lord will be entrusting to me. I can t wait to see what God is going to do at this campus!

Growing up, I attended Catholic school from pre-K all the way through to High School, but my faith was mundane, and apart from participating in the sacraments, I didn’t know how to pray. I was oblivious to the love that God had for me and how personal our relationship could be. I lived life in darkness as a child wandering in the wilderness.

When I got to college, I encountered FOCUS missionaries for the first time! It was here they taught me how to pray in such a personal way. They opened my eyes to witness how Jesus had and has been pursuing me year after year. They walked along side me as I tried to pursue Jesus, making Him the center of my life. They were true friends to me, showing me the love Jesus has for me through their friendship. It was these several moments during college when I noticed Jesus calling me by name, calling me out of darkness and into the light.

During my continued growth in intimate relationship with God, I grew to understand the gaze He has upon me, “you are precious in my eyes. and honored, and I love you…” (Isaiah 43:4). As God was continuously calling me into His light and I was growing to understand His gaze, I grew a great desire to be His instrument, being a witness of His great love in my life and using this testimony of faith to call all of His children out of darkness into His glorious light. I’m beyond grateful to be a part of this ministry, as the work God is calling us to do is to rebuild His Kingdom!
