We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called me to serve college students. I am a first year missionary at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina! Go Pirates!
College is where Jesus changed my life, and I know this ministry will change so many others lives as well.
I love students, I love teaching, and I love sharing the message of the Gospel with others. Becoming a missionary was what I knew would fulfill all of those loves I have. Getting a degree for four years then altering your entire life plan is difficult, but when the Lord provides such apparent opportunities to use you to encounter others, you let those plans change.
I knew from a young age I wanted to be an elementary school teacher. I have a passion for kids. That passion however slowly grew into a desire to develop relationships with older students as well. I began my degree in elementary education yet I started looking for ways to interact and be a mentor to college students. I became an orientation leader at my school and was transformed by the chance to seek change in students. Something was still missing and that was the aspect of my Catholic faith. I threw myself deeper into my own faith and incorporated fellowship and discipleship to encounter others. I saw so much brokenness, but I also saw a deep thirst for truth and hope for goodness that comes with an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
I went on my first mission trip as a junior in college and felt something unexplainable. I knew the Lord was calling me to full-time ministry after college. It was scary, it was something I never pictured myself being capable of doing, but God took me in His hands and told me to go and reach others.
So here I am! The Lord has sent me to make disciples.
Joining FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this journey with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
