Currently, I am serving at the FOCUS Denver Support Center in our finance department. As a financial analyst I help FOCUS steward our funds in a way that honors God, our mission, and our donors generous funds. In my role as an analyst I help oversee our yearly budgeting and planning process, work with our third-party partners, and consult with other departments to help them make decisions that are both mission-driven and sound fiscally.

Previously, I served for two years as a team director with Detroit Catholic Campus Ministry. I served College students at Wayne State University and the surrounding campuses in the great city of Detroit, MI! I was blessed to work out of Our Lady of the Rosary in Detroit and The Gabrielle Richard Student Center in Dearborn, MI!

In my first two years on campus with FOCUS I expanded to University of Northern Iowa (Go Cats!) in Cedar Falls, Iowa working with Students at St. Stephen the Witness Catholic student center.

During my time in college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln I was trying to solve the formula that everyone said would make me happy. I had good grades, friends, a girlfriend, and was attending every party. Yet, I felt empty inside. Through some great friendships at the Newman center and a providential encounter with a FOCUS missionary who took interest in me, I gradually opened my heart to Christ and allowed him to transform my life. Now, as a missionary disciple I hope to do the same for others: To show them the love Christ has for them and what it means for them to be Catholic in today’s world.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with many amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. “Some give by going, others go by giving.”
