We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love.”
-St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta
Hi! I’m the youngest of three, born into a culturally Catholic Colombian family and raised in the sunshine state, Florida. For as long as I can remember, the Sacraments of the Church were the foundation of my life, but an intimate relationship with Jesus was not. As I entered college, I found myself barely attending Mass and allowing the foundation my parents instilled in me to be shaken—shaken to the point where I no longer knew who I was created to be. This led to a life riddled with anxiety, insecurities, a deep sense of void, and a search for purpose and meaning in all the wrong places.
Throughout these years of hurt and longing, God was faithful. He kept pursuing me during every emotional breakdown when I questioned everything. There was a moment when I had had enough, and God met me where I was at. He picked me up from the graveyard I was laying in and transformed my life. He sent a young Catholic couple to walk with me, and they held my hand back into the Catholic Church. Since then, I haven’t looked back.
I desire to be the friend I wish I had when I started college, to show young women that living a life of divine intimacy with Jesus is an abundant one — one that I know their soul truly longs for and once they’ve tasted it, they would know it too.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely fully on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. If you are interested in partnering with me, I would love to meet with you! Please let me know the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to work together to fulfill The Great Commission and make disciples of all nations with you! (Matthew 28:18-20)
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
