God has called me to serve the college students at Bozeman, MT. I’m very excited to serve in an area that has many attractions similar to my home in Alaska, hoping it leads to authentic interactions with the students. I have a pretty cool story about how Jesus has changed my life — I think you should hear it sometime!
While I did grow up in a Catholic home, I came into college feeling like my faith wasn t my own. There was a complete disconnect between my faith and the other areas of my life. Who I was or how I acted was dependent on if I was in class, playing sports, hanging with friends, or going to church. I had a deep desire to feel like a unified person.
Through my college’s Newman Center, Christ was revealed as someone who longed to be known by me. Someone who was on a quest for me, to reveal to me my true self, my true worth, my true happiness. I was equipped with the understanding of Christ walking beside me, inviting me to say yes to live for more. I saw living the faith not as an obscure way to participate in church culture, but as living an integrated life knowing I am a beloved son of God. I went from being totally turned off by being around people, to seeing a present need for them to hear they are known and loved.
So with this wonderful gift of faith I ve been given through the Church, my choice is now What can I do to give back? This gift is too great for me to hold onto it and let it wither: so how can I share in it? My desire is to give back in the same area I received: the college campus. I m excited to see how living the faith as a FOCUS missionary with college students will shape both my life and theirs!
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus own example to find the best method of reaching the world.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
